Caleb: Still in F*cking Noodle

Caleb: Still in F*cking Noodle

The Sexton’s musings (spoilers are likely):

YES! This was a fantastic part II to “Caleb: Return to Noodle”. The way that book was left things was so bloody frustrating!! I was drooling to know what was going to happen. It was a long wait but I am totally not disappointed, AND there was little to no rage involved! I know! I surprised my own self!

That Victoria Wheeler bitch had me seeing red at the end of the last book! This book introduces an even more frustratingly whiney little bitch of a character named Donovan who is Wheeler’s brother. I’ll tell ya, this guy is just asking for a bullet to the head. He thinks he’s something special when really he’s just a bully and a punk. Donovan has a son in this tale and honestly I’m not sure if he was supposed to be considered mentally challenged but that is the way he came off. Perhaps it is simply one too many trophy’s for coming in last that made him that way but I feel like there is more going on there.

There are some pretty emotional parts to this as well as some laugh out loud bits. For those that have read the whole “Bad Games” series as well as “Caleb” parts of this book will be more meaningful. I highly recommend that you read them. Not only are they great books but there is more of an impact if you are familiar with the whole story. It’s beautiful and very well done! The characters are great, you actually get invested in them. I absolutely adore Caleb. I would consider Caleb Lambert one of my spirit animals. He is perfectly imperfect. This book brings a little bit of closure to his heart. I teared up. The ending is just so damn satisfying in so many ways!

Happy Devouring!
